Privacy Policy

Short version. FormPilot works on your device. Your snippets stay on your device. We don't run any server; we don't log anything; there is no analytics and no tracking. Apple handles payments, so we never see your card details.

What the app does

FormPilot is a Safari extension packaged inside a container app. You save text snippets; the extension inserts them into Safari tabs at your request.

What we collect

Nothing. The extension does not make any outbound network request. The container app does not make any outbound network request other than App Store / StoreKit APIs operated by Apple for purchase validation. We operate no servers of our own.

What stays on your device

• Your snippets, folders, and settings — stored only in the extension's browser.storage.local database.
• Your Pro entitlement flag — stored in the group.app.formpilot App Group so the extension can respect it without a login.

Permissions we request and why

• activeTab — the popup needs temporary access to the current tab to insert a snippet.
• storage — to save your snippets, folders, and preferences.
• contextMenus — to expose "Save selection as snippet" from the right-click menu.
• App Group (group.app.formpilot) — to share only the Pro entitlement flag between the app and the extension.

We do not request <all_urls> or any blanket host permission.

Payments

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by Apple via StoreKit. We never receive payment card data or billing address details. Apple's privacy policy applies to purchase information.

Analytics and trackers

None. We do not bundle any analytics SDK or third-party library that sends telemetry. The extension makes zero network calls.

Children

FormPilot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes

If future versions of FormPilot introduce optional features that require a network call (for example, opt-in iCloud sync), we will update this page and describe the data flow before you enable the feature.
